Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in providing guests with a clean and comfortable stay by ensuring all linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, pressed, and folded to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect all laundry for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to management.
• Keep laundry area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow proper procedures for handling and washing delicate items and specialty fabrics.
• Maintain inventory of linens and notify the supervisor of any shortages or ordering needs.
• Assist with other housekeeping or janitorial tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
