Full time evening Maintenance position available, evenings and weekends: 3pm-11pm
Maintenance department is responsible for the Comfort Suites Hotel and Conference Center, Holiday Inn Express, and the Cactus Red's Restaurant.
Pay is based on experience
Interview will be in person and will show off your maintenance skills
Looking for a self motivated, organized, efficient, and time manageable employee. Your job will be to keep our hotel running smoothly as it's vital to our guest's experience as Maintenance Representative. Keep the pools up and running and understand the chemicals for pools and spas.
Experience:
Basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, and carpentry knowledge with customer service
Some duties will be:
- Follow-up and complete work orders
- Perform routine maintenance around the hotel, pavilion, and garden areas, including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, carpet cleaning and pool cleaning/maintenance.
-Winter months maintenance is on call and required to be available for snow removal of property walkways. Summer months weekly sprinkler checks and repairs as needed.
- Work with banquet department to ensure a quality experience for event guests
- Be familiar with all hotel services to respond to guest inquiries accurately and efficiently
-Organize supplies and make sure equipment is ready for the next day
-Keep your supervisor or duty manager in the loop and tell them about any low running supplies
Qualifications:
-Must have minimum of 2 year of experience
-Must be able to lift min 50lbs
-Good attitude, confidence in work, able to listen to superiors, and focus on task at hand
-Pool and spa chemical knowledge
-HVAC Knowledge
-Basic maintenance knowledge
-customer service
-work well alone and be a multitasker
-able to prioritize and organize to complete tasks efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
