**Housekeeper**
*Job Overview:*
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety, and security are met. This position requires the individual to reside locally.
*Duties:*
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms by stripping and making beds, emptying trash, cleaning mirrors, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning walls, and vacuuming.
- Clean and inspect guest bathrooms, including fixtures, commodes, floors, walls, and mirrors to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Replenish guest rooms and bathrooms with amenities, supplies, and linen according to established standards.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or malfunctioning fixtures; perform minor repairs like replacing batteries or light bulbs; report larger maintenance needs to the supervisor or maintenance department.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in room and bathroom cleaning.
- Clean hallways, public areas, and bathrooms as assigned.
- Store cleaning cart and supplies properly before and after use; dispose of trash following hotel procedures.
