Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests while ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process. This role requires professionalism, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Starting wage is $13 per hour. Applicants must be available to work both the 7 am to 3 pm or the 3 pm to 11 pm shift as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner

Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently

Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a high level of service

Answer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information about the hotel and local area

Process reservations and cancellations accurately

Manage payment transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and cash handling

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction

Follow hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols

Qualifications & Requirements:

Customer service experience required; hotel/hospitality experience strongly preferred

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn property management software

Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
