Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Specialist to join our Accounts Payable team in our Service department in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized, productive team player with the ability to work well with others. The candidate must also possess oral and written communication skills, technical skills, and accounts payable knowledge.

Pay: $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

· Accounts Payable invoice coding into accounting system.

· Interacting with purchasing personnel to resolve PO and invoice discrepancies

· Maintaining necessary information to set up accounts with new vendors.

· Configure employee devices, including iPhones and iPads, with job-specific applications.

· Assist with expense reports for our Service department.

· Field inbound calls from clients for technician dispatching.

· Creating dispatch work orders.

· Assisting management with other miscellaneous accounting matters as needed.

Qualifications:

· Accounting degree or 2 years of experience preferred.

· Good knowledge of math and basic accounting principles.

· Organization and time management skills.

· Experience configuring electronic devices.

· Microsoft Office experience; Excel formulas, sorting and filtering functions.

· Willingness to learn and help others.

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude.

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
