- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, including property managers, business owners, and contractors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and company-provided leads.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to assess commercial HVAC needs and provide tailored solutions for businesses.
- Present and explain product and service options, including pricing, financing options, and available warranties.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, service, and installation departments, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, Comfort Temp’s offerings, and commercial HVAC advancements to provide informed recommendations.
- Accurately complete all required documentation, including contracts, proposals, and financing applications.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of sales experience, preferably in commercial HVAC, construction, or a related industry.
- Business Acumen: Strong ability to understand commercial HVAC needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Customer-Oriented: Commitment to providing exceptional service and building lasting client relationships.
- Sales Proficiency: Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and projects while prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems is a plus, but training will be provided if needed.
- Software Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and proposal generation tools.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in sales or HVAC is a plus.
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and conducting site visits at commercial locations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds as necessary for product samples and materials.
