The Role: Plumbing Project Manager – Gainesville
Are you a seasoned plumbing professional with a proven ability to manage complex commercial projects from the ground up? Are you ready to lead teams, own outcomes, and make a meaningful impact in your market?
CT Mechanical is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to take full ownership of project planning, labor management, execution, and profitability. In this role, you’ll ensure that our plumbing projects are completed on time, on budget, and up to the highest standards of safety and quality. From subcontractor coordination to client relations and team leadership, you’ll drive every aspect of successful project delivery in Gainesville and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do
Ensure all assigned plumbing projects meet or exceed profitability targets (minimum 10% net profit)
Manage labor needs and forecasting with a 3-week look-ahead for optimal planning
Develop and manage relationships with plumbing subcontractors and vendors
Lead internal and external communication to resolve challenges and maintain client satisfaction
Collaborate with departments across HR, Finance, Estimating, Asset Management, and IT to support project success
Oversee material logistics, fabrication, purchasing, and warehouse coordination for plumbing needs
Identify and pursue business development opportunities within the plumbing trade
Manage warranty items and ensure timely resolution of post-installation plumbing concerns
Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
Prioritize tasks and organize team responsibilities to meet project timelines
Report project progress, metrics, and challenges to the leadership team weekly
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial plumbing, with at least 3 years in a project management role
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, construction workflows, and subcontractor management
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Ability to drive performance, mentor teams, and solve problems with confidence
Skilled in reading construction plans, forecasting project needs, and delivering operational results
