The Role: Refrigeration Pipefitter
We’re looking for a highly skilled Refrigeration Pipefitter who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship. If you have strong copper brazing and soldering experience, especially from an HVAC Install Technician background, you’ll fit right in.
In this role, you’ll install, assemble, and maintain complex refrigeration piping systems for a variety of projects. You’ll work with copper, steel, plastic, and more—applying your expertise in layout, cutting, threading, and fitting while keeping safety and quality at the center of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
Review work sites and job specs to plan piping routes and avoid structural or workflow conflicts
Cut, bend, thread, and shape a variety of pipe types: copper, iron, steel, PVC, and more
Connect pipes using soldering, brazing, threading, and other joining techniques
Secure piping systems using brackets, clamps, and hangers
Cut and bore into walls or fixtures for piping runs, following code and safety guidelines
Conduct hydraulic pressure testing and system checks for quality assurance
Read blueprints and follow specifications precisely
Operate machinery for cutting, threading, and bending pipe
Adhere strictly to lockout/tagout and OSHA safety standards
Collaborate with team members on larger installations and retrofit jobs

What You Bring
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in pipefitting or HVAC installation
Demonstrated skill in copper brazing and soldering (this is a must)
Solid understanding of mechanical systems and tools
Ability to gain access to state and federal institutions
Must pass background check and drug test
OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right
Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
