Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to designated locations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including Wheelchair van after training provided by the company.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure operational safety.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatcher regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in transportation plans.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding including door-to-door services as needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in medical transportation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Wheelchair van is a plus. All essential Wheelchair securement and professional driving including exemplary customer service trainings will be provided with company expense
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Experience in maintaining vehicles and performing basic troubleshooting is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 12 per week
