Job Title: Human Resources Assistant (Recruiting focus)
Reports To: Human Resources Director
Job Summary:
Comfort Window Co., Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant, with a focus on the recruiting process, to join our Human Resources team in Syracuse, New York. This role will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent, coordinating the interview process, managing new hire onboarding, and assisting with various HR projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for connecting with people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify potential candidates for open positions using various recruiting platforms and tools
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required paperwork is completed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and employee records
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software efficiently
- Assist with various Human Resources projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Exceptional technical skills, including proficiency in applicant tracking systems, HR software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Experience in recruiting, HR, or a related field preferred but not required
