Software Developer

Copperhead Technologies, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software Developer in support of the USSOCOM SOCRATES mission. The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that align with business requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to deliver high-quality applications on time.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Deep understanding of software development principles,

• Proficiency in modern programming languages and tools.
• A commitment to staying up to date with emerging technologies and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement is essential.
  

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
• Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

• 11-20% / Occasional travel.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree //OR// 5 years relevant experience in software development.
• Current, active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with modern web technologies and tools.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and similar web programming technologies.
• Experience with Restful API’s, relational databases, and cross browser compatibility troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to support web development for search and discovery of authoritative data.
• Experience with modern high-level programming languages (C#, C , Java, etc.).
• Experience with ESRI products (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, etc.).

• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
