More than half of job duties include:
1. Supervising and providing training for Card Delivery Persons, coaching on best practices and procedures. 2. Assists in creating and implementing policies and standard operating procedures related to the Card Delivery Department.3. Setting performance standards and work goals for Card Delivery Persons on their shift. Continually assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of work performed. 4. Creating and administering employee performance evaluations.5. Initiating corrective/disciplinary action as necessary per Company policies.6. Plans and directs work of Card Delivery Persons to staff accordingly.7. Monitors and instructs staff regarding safety regulations and procedures.8. Provides labor support for the efficient and effective operations of the Card Department.9. Lifts and carries a maximum of sixty-five (65) pounds up to six (6) times, or more in one work day. 10. Arranges supply of cards for daily casino use.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Supervises Card Delivery Person’s and ensures all cards are inspected, cleaned and delivered to Company standards.2. Creates a good work environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction and properly utilizes performance feedback, recognition, training, and adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements.3. Maintains records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employees.4. Instructs employees and new hires on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) chemical Right to Know standards.5. Inspects area completely and thoroughly for cleanliness.6. Monitors the time clock when clocking employees in and out.7. Resolves guest complaints in a timely manner.8. Performs stock maintenance and organization of designated storage areas.9. Delivers and retrieves playing cards and various gaming items to and from designated areas.10. Understands and is responsible for department and Company policy and procedure.11. Participates in the daily/monthly taking of inventories. 12. Responsible for keeping assigned section safe and orderly.13. Follows company policies and procedures and communicates any problem and/or any accidents to immediate manager.14. Performs all other job-related duties as assigned by Casino Management.
