As our Risk Manager, you are likely someone who specializes in creating innovative initiatives and prioritizes collaborative solutions to organizational risk mitigation challenges. This position will be at the forefront of developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies that protect our City’s assets, employees, and residents. Your leadership and program development skills will help us identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them, fostering a culture of safety and compliance across all City departments. Additionally, the City is looking for someone who can provide sound guidance and lend their expertise for in-depth contract analysis and review.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The anticipated hiring range is $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 / Annually

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, the social sciences, public administration, or other related program; and Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in managing risk management functions, that includes at least two (2) years of work experience in a lead or supervisory role; OR
An associate degree in business administration or management, the social sciences, public administration, or other related program; and Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in managing risk management functions, that includes at least two (2) years of work experience in a lead or supervisory role; OR
A high school diploma or equivalent and (8) eight years of progressively responsible experience in managing risk management functions, that includes at least two (2) years of work experience in a lead or supervisory role
Any of the following certifications are preferred but not required to be successful in this role:
- Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
- Chartered Property Causality Underwriter (CPCU)
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
