This is an IN-PERSON position in Tampa, FL. Full Time/Hourly
Mon-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
The Accounting Receivable Specialist ensures fast and accurate posting of customer payments, new customer entries, month-end reporting, and a variety of other tasks with the admin team.
Your duties will include:
- Accurately apply payment receipts from ACH deposits and non-accounts receivable payments.
- Apply and reconcile credit card transactions.
- Process month-end closing and prepare weekly AR aging reports.
- Handle NSF and chargeback information, notifying appropriate credit specialists.
- Manage relationships with ACH customers and complete customer ACH forms.
- Report payment discrepancies.
- Process warranty credits and write-offs.
- Manage unreconciled payments for the bank at each branch location.
- Report intercompany payments to brands and apply payments paid to other brands.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preferred: High School and accounting training
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant training and/or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong computer and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Customer service communication skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
