What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller (Floating) position at Commercial Bank & Trust Co?
Role and Responsibilities:
- Cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks; takes check orders; handles returned checks; lets customers in safety deposit box.
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling.
- Provides coverage to multiple branches within the market.
- Scans work through Branch Capture.
- Balances vault and ATM; restocks ATM.
- Opens, balances, and closes the Card Wizard machine.
- Handles account inquiries and solves customer problems at the first customer contact.
- Runs coin machine at Mineral Wells branch.
- Backs up the Switchboard Operator as needed.
- Has helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
- Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
- Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, BSA, Compliance, and supervisor on a timely basis.
- Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Tact and public relations expertise
- Ability to work well with others
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
