Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to help out on our Hobby Farm providing food, water and hay for our farm animals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals particularly farm animals and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm operations.
Duties
- Lovingly providing food, water, and hay for our farm animals – Goats, Chickens, Ducks, Pigs, and Emu.
- Experienced in caring for animals, preferably farm animals
- Morning or evening feedings and chores
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Able to work outside in every extreme weather year-round
- Able to work independently
- Care and upkeep of shelters, grounds, and other projects as they arise.
- Restocking food bins and hay, bedding and feed
- Able to lift ~50 pounds or more
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and responsible
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
