The Engineering Assistant position requires 5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred). Engineering Assistants support the engineering management team in various administrative tasks and project coordination activities. The role involves assisting with project documentation, scheduling meetings, and providing logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Documentation:
- Assist in creating, organizing, and maintaining project documentation, including engineering plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure all engineering-related documents are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to team members.
Communication & Coordination:
- Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Prepare and distribute engineering-related communications, such as meeting agendas, minutes, and status updates.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, site visits, and project-related events.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of engineering project milestones.
Budget & Financial Assistance:
- Assist in monitoring budgets and expenses.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect and analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare summary reports and recommendations based on data analysis.
Required Skillsets and Expertise:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools.
