Summary
We are currently seeking Full-Time Seasonal, Asphalt Paving Laborers to join our team for the upcoming paving season. Qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of the construction industry with specific experience related to asphalt installation and site work.
Responsibilities
- Performs manual labor tasks associated with asphalt paving, such as placing asphalt material, removal or repairs, maintenance of asphalt surfaces, construction, site/surface preparation (example: shoveling, raking, wheelbarrowing, etc.).
- Operating small tools and basic construction equipment (example: power tools, cut off saw, plate tamp, jackhammer, etc.).
- Performing daily inspections and general maintenance to ensure equipment is in safe, proper working order.
- Assisting and signaling trucks for alignment and movement of materials.
- Flagging for traffic control and/or placement and moving various traffic control devices.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for producing a high-quality finished appearance of the placed product.
- Clean up of equipment and site as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethics with attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Full range of body motion including heavy lifting, handling and operating levers/controls, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Willing to work extended hours, including night and weekend work. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
- OSHA-10 Construction safety card.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites for consistent ability to show up for work on time and every day as scheduled.

Pay: $21.00 - $41.69 per hour
