Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing, tracking and making payments.
The Accounts Payable (AP) is responsible for administering the financial obligations to the company’s creditors and vendors. The AP will need to process invoices, cut or write checks, manage vendors, and reconcile monthly accounts. The AP will need to coordinate with executives to receive signatures and manage the payment process. The AP should also assist the finance department with quarterly or yearly tax statements and any other accounting information as needed by management.
The AP provides the work ethic and passion to ensure objectives are met by contributing to the team and the organization.

Accountability:
- Reports directly to the Director of Finance
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures such as purchase orders and invoices
- Review the accuracy of invoices and ensure proper payment of vendors and subcontractors
- Reconciling accounts payable
- Maintaining vehicle registrations
- Managing vendors and keeping accurate records or billing information
- Preparing analysis and reports as needed by management
- Verify and resolve discrepancies, if any
- Maintaining subcontractor files
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Input daily bookkeeping and all other tasks as assigned.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with integrated accounting programs and reporting tools, preferably NetSuite
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- NetSuite experience a plus
