What are the responsibilities and job description for the Filter Service Technician position at Commerical Filter Service?
FILTER SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
Commercial Filter Service, Inc. provides our customers with a reoccurring scheduled HVAC filter change-out service. When air filters get dirty they restrict airflow, which causes equipment to work harder and use more energy. This puts unnecessary strain on valuable HVAC equipment, and causes utility costs to increase. Our company provides valuable maintenance cost savings to our customers by insuring that the air filters in their equipment are changed regularly.
The Filter Service technician’s role is to perform this maintenance on a daily basis at a variety of customer locations.
Filter Service Technician arrives at the customer site and checks in with each customer prior to service. Then they proceed to the roof, maintenance closets, and other equipment areas and change out the air filters in each designated piece of equipment requiring service. Once the service is complete, they check out with the customer and have all necessary paperwork signed. This process is repeated along each geographic service route consisting of a variety of facilities. Our client base consists of large grocery and retail chains, restaurants, office buildings, and industrial factories.
