What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator position at Commission Row?
We are looking for a detail-oriented event coordinator to contribute to the achievement of sales targets in Commission Row.
The Event Coordinator will work in tandem with our Sales Coordinator & Sales Manager to manage events during the lifecycle. The event coordinator's responsibilities include supporting sales, ensuring order satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, motivating staff, handling administrative duties, and maintaining the execution of the event. To be a successful event coordinator, one should have excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills. You should also possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Event Coordinators carry out many tasks on their own; however, a primary responsibility of the job is working with and through the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of high-volume event planning experience
- Excellent communication, team management, and customer service skills
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position is responsible for the detailing of events at Commission Row.
- Develop a complete understanding of the requirements for every event
- Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of events including event details, time/dates, prep-work, set-up/tear down.
- Handle day of administration of events; including order placement, BEO review, vendor monitoring, and issues resolution.
- Confirms and communicates event details with all management (front and back of house)
- Perform any other related duties as directed by management
