We're a family owned business that specializes in the manufacturing of pitas and tortillas. We are rapidly growing and looking to bring on more team members to our Buffalo, NY facility.
Position: INDUSTRIAL SANITATION TECHNICIAN
Hourly Rate: $16.00
Schedule: 9pm-5:30am, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays
Shift: 3rd
Brief Overview of Position:
- Ensure that the grounds of the facility are clean and hazard free.
- Clean industrial machinery using approved heavy duty industrial strength chemicals.
- Detailed cleaning and sanitizing food contact surfaces.
- Use of pressure washers, forklift and other lifts.
- Must be able to perform heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Responsible for consistently following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
An Ideal Candidates Possess:
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Ability to complete simple records of tasks completed
- Ability to follow directions, all safety procedures, and complete tasks designated by supervisor
- Prior experience of sanitation in a food manufacture setting is a plus but not required.

Occupational hazards include: Dusty, exposure to industrial grade cleaning chemicals, exposure to high noise levels, extended standing time and exposure to a variety of temperatures.
