Introduction:
Common Ground Hospitality is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This role is fundamental to our restaurant's operations, ensuring that our kitchen and dining areas have a steady supply of clean utensils, dishes, and cookware. Ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining cleanliness and order, this position is a cornerstone in supporting our commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate dishwashing equipment to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist in the maintenance of kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping floors and removing trash.
- Support kitchen staff by restocking clean dishes, utensils, and cookware as needed.
- Inspect cleaned items for quality and report any issues to the kitchen manager.
- Assist with additional cleaning and preparation tasks as needed in the kitchen.
- Adhere to proper handling and storage of all kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in a restaurant preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
