Airbnb Cleaners in Southern Maine

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. An Airbnb cleaner is responsible for making sure the property is properly cleaned and ready for the next guest. We manage over 6 different Airbnb rentals in Southern Maine ranging from Freeport to Raymond (Raymond, Casco, Standish, Falmouth and two Freeport homes).

This is a 1099- Independent Contractor position. You will be required to fill out a W-9 form upon hire, and will receive a 1099 at the end of the year.

Hours for turnovers are between 10:00am-4:00pm. Our experienced cleaners usually take around 3/4 hours for most properties.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, for short term rentals. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently and communicate with property mangement.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Carry out residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry duties for towels and bed linens on site.
• Clean kitchen, including oven, stove top, microwave, and wiping out refrigerator and freezer.
• Maintain thorough cleanliness in bathrooms, ensuring guest satisfaction through attention to detail.
• Launder linens and towels as required, ensuring they are clean and presentable for use.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning supplies in accordance with established guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in short term rentals preferred but not required.
• Must have your own vehicle, and vacuum.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without oversight.
• Showing up on time is a must, or communicating to management if you will be late.
• Time efficient, as short term rentals need to be turned over within 6 hours.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 24 per week
