Job Description:
As a Service Technician at Hoodz of Southern Maine, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services for kitchen exhaust systems, with a particular focus on fan service. You will work on-site at various commercial kitchen locations, performing routine maintenance and repairs to keep systems running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair services on kitchen exhaust systems, focusing on exhaust fans.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues with exhaust fans, motors, and related components.
• Inspect ventilation systems, ensuring proper function and safety compliance.
• Perform system diagnostics and report on any issues or needed repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and worksite.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with mechanical work and fan service (e.g., motors, fans, bearings, belts, etc.).
• Strong mechanical background and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must possess a valid and clean driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 pounds).
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.
• Previous experience in HVAC, kitchen exhaust systems, or related fields is a plus.
