Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan JCAHO and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. The Biomedical Equipment Tech is responsible for the calibration troubleshooting repair and preventative maintenance of medical equipment in the facility. Duties also include but are not limited to: performing daily rounds filing of work orders ordering parts researching equipment history and performing vendor management Each task is fully supervised until the lead technician or the manager qualify the technician to perform the task unsupervised. 

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years experience in the Biomedical Equipment or related field
• CPI will be completed within 90 days of hire and every other year thereafter.
• Biomedical Equipment Technician or Clinical Engineering Certification preferred
• Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology, medical terminology, gas, plumbing, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems and hydraulics a plus.
