Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The RN Clinical Educator will provide training on nursing and MA competencies, documentation requirements, facility protocols and procedures. They will collaborate with clinical leadership and staff across all clinical departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate and revise educational programming for all levels of clinical personnel as indicated or requested.
Essential Responsibilities:
- On-boarding for all clinical staff at all locations.
- Maintain, monitor and schedule BLS for staff.
- Coordinate and schedule clinical educational inservices at all locations.
- Perform 90 day and annual skills competency check offs.
- Perform and report chart audits (to include but not limited to: all tasks, patient intake documentation, medication refills, nurse messages, nurse notes, PAQ timeliness.)
- Develop training manuals for MER.
- Disperse updated educational materials and forms to all locations.
- Participation completion of clinical staff annual reviews.
- Complete Imaging cancellation/no show notifications for all providers.
- Monitor patient calls to answering service for follow up and trends.
- Help physicians complete VRISM death certificates.
Qualifications
Educations:
- Graduate from an accredited RN program.
License/Certification:
- Valid Tennessee RN license
- BLS Certification
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of cardiac experience.
