Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Answers incoming telephone calls from health plan members employers providers and health plans. Assesses purpose of call and provides appropriate information to callers including calls of a complex nature. Ensures work is completed in compliance with relevant regulatory agencies so as to maintain plan licensing. Follows department policies and procedures and meets regulatory quality standards. Serves as a resource for Level 1 Reps assisting with training of reps as requested.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
One or more (1 ) years of experience required working as a MSR I within the DHMSO environment and/or other Dignity Health facilities with similar environment and/or settings three or more (3 ) years’ experience working in a healthcare related call center environment experience working in managed care or similar healthcare business environment.- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Preferred Qualfications:
Medical office/terminology certification preferred.- Experience working with government plans such as Medicare and MediCal preferred
- Experience working with shared risk full risk delegated and self-funded plans preferred.
