CommBank Health aims to improve patient and provider experiences by offering a wide range of innovative healthcare solutions that include mobile platforms, CommBank SMART terminals, the web and partner product integrations.
CommBank Smart Health is Australia’s first truly end-to-end digital payments solution for the healthcare industry, providing convenient and secure payment, claiming, and directory capabilities for Australia’s healthcare payer schemes, providers, and patients. Within CommBank Health, you'll be part of the Web and Mobile team responsible for all the Customer facing functionality related to Smart Health, which brings together a touch screen smart terminal for processing payments and is seamlessly integrated with the CommBank Health Claim Merchant Portal.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be consulted on product and feature designs and will be critical to their quality implementation and delivery. You will have the opportunity to stretch yourself in front end engineering, API development, and systems integration, as well as contribute to the evolution of this system and the business strategy. Also, you’ll be invited to attend our regular engineering guilds to broaden your expertise and participate in agile ceremonies, which will allow you to contribute to and define the way we operate.

Have solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices.
Collaborates within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Are actively involved in continuous learning, experimentation, and participate in peer code reviews.
Are constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems.
Work well in teams and have strong collaboration skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Tech Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
Backend - developing backend applications using .NET Core, Rest API design patterns
Frontend frameworks - Angular
Databases - SQL Server
Cloud development - Azure or AWS preferred
Any experience with the following would be great - Monitoring & observability (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
