The Transaction Banking business provides specialist expertise to assist our customers within Commercial Banking, with their working capital and cash flow management needs and generates opportunities across multiple transaction banking products.
Our products and services include the suite of Business Accounts, CommBiz, Merchant Solutions (both Card Present and Online), BPAY, Direct Debit and Corporate Cards.
Do work that matters
You will focus on the Commercial Banking segment ($30m - $150m Turnover businesses) to identify and generate new to Bank Transaction Banking sales. In addition, you will manager a team of professionals, working closely to grow the existing portfolio and market share.
More specifically, you will
- Develop strong relationships with key clients to gain a better understanding of their business, and particularly their Transaction Banking requirements
- Actively support Commercial Banking teams in optimising cross-sell and client retention opportunities including direct involvement in specific client deals
- Develop productive working relationships with CB Leaders and Relationship Executives to optimise new business opportunities
- Demonstrate superior solution focus aligned with the client’s needs and focus on exceeding Transaction Banking business objectives and revenue growth targets
- Plan and execute risk-mitigating procedures. On a regular basis, report and discuss the results of risk management performed within the business
- Display a determination to build a high performance culture within the team

- A strong track record of high quality sales, relationship management and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to develop, maintain and manage strong working relationships with business partners, peers and staff
- Experience running a successful client-facing sales business in a financial institution
- Strong Transactional Banking product, banking and financial services solutions knowledge
- Authentic leadership and the ability to take your team on a journey to become the best Transaction Banking team in the market
- Energy and resilience, with a demonstrated capability in achieving outstanding business results
- Proven coaching and mentoring experience, and the ability to build and drive a strong team culture
