What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Outreach Sr. Representative position at Commonwealth Care Alliance?
• Create, plan, coordinate, and attend compliant formal and informal cooperative community-based events.
• Introduce and represent CCA at community events; answering questions and building awareness of CCA; distribute educational materials, give and/or attend presentations to prospective members and provider partners in order to establish referral sources. This position will be community-based and will be in the community most days.
• Working with community organizations, attending product presentations to prospective members, staffing a table at a community event (such as at local organizations, food pantries, etc.).
• Identifies opportunities to promote CCA programs in targeted populations throughout the marketplace.
• Determine eligibility to enroll in CCA, providing callers with an overview of the program, the model of care and the provider network, and discuss benefit plans.
• Identifies appropriate campaigns and sponsorships by gathering pertinent data from the community and / or contacts by researching upcoming community events, walk-a-thons, etc.
• Maintain event and meeting calendars, schedule event/engagement meetings, coordinate space reservations, catering, A/V, parking, etc.
• Post event follow-up contact with participants who have indicated an interest in our health plans, schedule follow-up calls with those who qualify and provide resources should the participant not qualify for a health plan being offered by CCA.
• Track event and engagement metrics for reporting in a timely manner; maintain record of presentations
• Maintain consistent supply of materials and handouts.
• Must have own vehicle for travel to different sites daily.
• Must be able to work with prospective members over the phone, in their home or in community settings.
• Must be able to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
