Patient Care Coordinator Position - Commonwealth Endodontics

  • Current BLS/CPR Certification (preferred)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Patient Care Coordinator is accountable for ensuring each patient is provided with the highest level of patient care and service. This includes kind and helpful telephone interactions, friendly greetings, communicating clearly with patients in terms they can understand, and making the patient feel comfortable and valued.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers all incoming calls expeditiously in a professional, courteous manner
  • Schedule, re-schedule, and cancel appointments for all doctors and offices
  • Answers caller questions when able; transfers calls to co-workers or doctors as necessary
  • Correctly inputs into the system each patient’s appointment, demographics, medical, and insurance information
  • Assist patients within the office with check-in and check-out
  • Evaluates schedules daily to be sure that they are booked correctly
  • A team player who is willing to help co-workers as needed
  • Assists in other business office tasks
  • Manages email account
  • Inputs patient information from online registration
  • Scanning, copying and faxing
  • Sends out correspondence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
