Job Summary
The Parts Inside Sales Representative will answer emails and phone calls daily to ensure customer requests are attended to promptly. This is done by employing effective communication skills and relaying accurate information during each encounter. The Parts department prides itself on their communication skills and how they handle customer requests on a daily basis.
As a Parts Inside Sales Rep for Commonwealth Equipment, you will collaborate within your team to support our small but growing company of nearly 70 employees. This position in our company will play an important role in our strategy to improve the flow of customer requests each day.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Answer customer requests by phone and email
- Assist customers with identifying parts as needed
- Follow up with vendors for RFQ’s, Shipment Tracking, Backorders
- Proficient interdepartmental communication between parts, service, logistics, inside and outside sales
- Facilitate parts orders requested by the Outside Sales team
- Research heavy equipment parts books to become familiar with industry-specific parts
- Access, navigate, and update shared documents and directories accurately
- Read PDFs and parts drawings to ID requested parts required per machine
- Other Inside Parts Sales duties as required
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- US work authorization (required)
- Associates degree in Sales, Business Administration, or combination of education and relevant experience
- 1 years of experience in Parts Sales
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Brief walking outdoors on unpaved ground to satellite buildings/structures for physical stock checks
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
