By joining the Document Scanning Section as a Document Processing Specialist II in Franklin County, you will have the opportunity to support EEC's efforts to digitize paper documents, improving the cabinet's overall accessibility and maintenance of records. This Document Processing Specialist II position offers a rewarding and exciting opportunity to work with a group of dedicated professionals who provide mission critical services to staff of the Energy and Environment Cabinet on a daily basis.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
Primarily sitting at desk. May require minimal standing, bending and lifting.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have three years of clerical, administrative, or accounting experience. One year of the required experience must include automated document processing.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

- Work closely with all of EEC's departments and division to ensure their document scanning needs are being met.
- Work closely with open records staff to assist in scanning files being requested by the public quickly and efficiently.
- Prepare and scan documents vital to daily Cabinet operations.
- Review and quality check scanned documents and correct any errors.
- Document scanning experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and creating reports.
- Experience with document editing software.
- Customer service.
- Time management and attention to detail.
