The Corbin Area Technology Center is looking for an experienced, hard-working, dedicated person to help students in Corbin reach their career goal in the area of Engineering. Pathway content includes problem solving, design, robotics, CAD and the utilization of physical & virtual modeling taught in a project-based environment. This is a new position at the Corbin ATC and it is very exciting and rewarding to see students in grades 9-12 further their education and complete this career path.

Duties and Responsibilities
Salary: Dependent on rank and experience

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Applicants must have at least 4 years of industrial occupational experience, technical education or a teaching certificate in Secondary Science, Mathematics, Technology, or STEM. The teaching certifications or industrial experience/technical education in CAD, Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Engineering are preferred.
