The Facilities Division is hiring a Maintenance Manager that provides overall management of the maintenance of buildings, facilities, grounds, and/or all mechanical systems.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Seven years of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, moving services or mechanical maintenance experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Formal training in industrial arts, horticulture, building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, mechanical engineering, or a related field will substitute for the experience on a year-for- year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Incumbents in this job title may be required to use hand tools and lift items in excess of 20 pounds.

- Supervise employees.
- Assign daily work assignments.
- Authorize Leave and Comp Time.
- Recommend salary increases and prepare evaluations.
- Oversees the work management system, preventative and emergency maintenance,minor facility modifications or alterations and minor construction for the dept.
- Repair boilers, air conditioning, pump controls, wiring and electrical systems.
- Meets with contractors to receive price quotes.
- Inspects work and plan corrective action.
- Provide technical advice.
- Make estimates.
- Determine scope of work and cost concerning renovation, repair and new construction projects.
- Prepare job orders and purchase requests and all other necessary paperwork.
- Purchase parts for repair and new installation.
- Develops and recommends policies concerning training and maintenance programs and equipment purchases.

Salary : $46,147 - $69,221
