DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This employee, operating under the guidance of the Clerical Supervisor, engages in a diverse range of clerical and administrative tasks, with a focus on accounting responsibilities, processing invoices, and overseeing budgets and expenditures. In this role, they serve as the primary invoice reconciler for all county purchases, which entails liaising with the comptroller and vendors to address and resolve any issues that may arise. Additionally, this position may involve undertaking technical duties as required to support the functioning of a County Maintenance Organization within Washington County.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
- An Associate Degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits of accounting.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
