If so, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) would like to talk with you! This position offers you the opportunity to lead a team performing challenging, mission-critical work. Build your career at the Fish and Boat Commission as you make independent, yet professional, judgments while completing complex legal work in a timely and thorough manner.
As an Attorney for the Fish and Boat Commission, you will be responsible for performing legal work at the full professional performance level under the general direction of the PFBC’s Chief Counsel. This will include managing the statewide activities of the PFBC Division of Public Access and Property Services. You will have the opportunity to plan, acquire and manage public access and real estate projects, and manage real property assets. You will develop partnerships with public and private organizations for acquiring and securing long term public access to the Commonwealth’s waterways for fishing and boating opportunities, as well as for the conservation of lands, waterways and habitats for fish, amphibians, reptiles, and aquatic life. You will also be responsible for performing a full range of supervisory duties for your team such as planning work, assigning work, prioritizing work, monitoring work progress, reviewing completed work for adherence to standards, and evaluating employee performance through performance evaluation reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg or to the Central Regional Office in Bellefonte.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- Five years of professional legal experience and graduation from an accredited school of law; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Post Employment Qualification:
- You must be certified for admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and must maintain membership on a continuous basis during employment.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
