THE POSITION

We are eager to welcome a dedicated Drug and Alcohol Program Analyst to assist in overseeing recovery initiatives throughout the Commonwealth. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Drug and Alcohol Program Analyst, you will perform professional, consultative, and administrative work on recovery support services throughout the Commonwealth. Specific duties involve planning, developing, and monitoring programs associated with substance use related recovery support programs in Pennsylvania, as well as conducting and participating in training and presentations surrounding recovery support services. You will provide technical assistance to various stakeholders and recovery community organizations regarding funding, design, and development of peer support programs. This professional is also responsible for the development and revision of program guidelines, standards, and procedures around recovery support services and recovery-oriented systems of care.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM OR 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, however you will be required to report to the office 1 day per month and for special events as necessary. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Two years of professional experience in social service or human development programs including one year of program planning, developing, and monitoring experience of the same; and a bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
