DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Equipment Operator A, you will operate a variety of vehicles and equipment, including a 24-foot box truck, forklifts, and pallet jacks, to transport and manage materials across multiple warehouse locations. You will ensure goods are efficiently loaded, secured, and delivered, all while maintaining a well-organized and safe environment. In addition to transportation duties, you will perform routine maintenance and safety checks on vehicles and equipment, ensuring everything is in top condition. Your attention to detail will help keep operations running smoothly, and you will contribute to critical efforts such as palletizing materials and assisting with inventory management. Your contributions will play a large part in our team's ability to maintain continuous service to state agencies. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess one year of warehouse experience.
- You must possess one year of experience with deliveries using a box truck.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
