What are the responsibilities and job description for the Basic Education Associate 1 position at Commonwealth of Pennsylvania?
As a Basic Education Associate 1, you will be tasked with developing and reviewing curriculum and course revisions for the Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership (PIL) continuing education courses and PIL Induction program. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with course facilitators to determine strengths and areas for improvement within courses. You will work with content provider(s) and subject matter experts (SMEs) to make revisions as needed. In this role, work involves leading and assisting with piloting new courses for the program; reviewing all course evaluations regarding facilitator performance and sharing with the contractor, who schedules the facilitators for the various courses; as well as reviewing all course evaluations regarding content and assignment effectiveness. In order to ensure courses are engaging and modeling effective instructional practices, you will also be responsible for reviewing and introducing appropriate instructional technology.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You are currently required to report in-office one day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of professional experience in the field of education; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience.
Other Requirements:
