DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Manager within the Department of Corrections, your primary role will involve overseeing the maintenance and trades personnel to ensure the effective execution of both routine and specialized maintenance, construction, and repair activities at your designated facility.
You will be tasked with the strategic planning, assignment, direction, and coordination of daily operational activities. This includes assessing staffing requirements and establishing priorities aligned with the facility's objectives, as well as preparing and submitting the annual budget for your department. Additionally, you will continue to provide leadership and oversight to the maintenance and trades teams as they carry out their essential tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Salary : Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $54,914.00 (before taxes).
