DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the staff of the Clean Water program. Additionally, you will provide support for minor sewage inspections. Your efforts will contribute to ensuring that the Clean Water program fulfills its federal grant obligations. You will be tasked with reviewing data; compiling information; and conducting on-site inspections. This will involve a thorough examination of relevant data to maintain program integrity. Your attention to detail will be crucial in supporting the program's objectives.
Your responsibilities will play a vital role in the overall success of the Clean Water program. By assisting with inspections and data management, you will help uphold the standards required for compliance with federal regulations. This position is essential for promoting clean water initiatives within the community.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time internship that will run from 5 / 1 / 2025 through 8 / 29 / 2025
Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time on a schedule that aligns with the supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Williamsport.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Internship Requirements :
Environmental Science
Biology
Chemistry
Freshman year
completed.
Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher).
Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university.
Additional Requirements :
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
