DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Safety Manager at SCI Muncy, you will be pivotal in administering a robust safety program within your assigned institution. This program comprises five essential components : general safety, occupational health, environmental compliance, fire prevention, and safety and sanitation. In this leadership position, your responsibilities will include :
- Ensuring unwavering compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and the Department of Corrections' policies and procedures.
- Leading the Fire Emergency Response Team with authority and expertise.
- Conduct thorough inspections and drills and effectively prepare and execute fire safety scenarios.
- Oversee staff training and meticulously maintain all documentation related to fire safety training.
