THE POSITION

It oversees a vast network of dining establishments, retail food outlets, and food production facilities throughout the state, ensuring that they adhere to stringent food safety laws and standards.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be responsible for performing sanitation inspections of seasonal agricultural labor camps and various food and milk establishments, including wholesale, retail, manufacturing, dairy, and warehousing operations within designated regional areas. Additionally, you will carry out FDA audit inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require travel and overtime.
- This position will be home-headquartered if the applicant lives in Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong, Butler, or Lawrence County. If the applicant does not live in Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong, Butler, or Lawrence County, the assigned state vehicle must be parked in one of these counties, and the workday will start at 8 : 00 AM at the location of the assigned state vehicle.
- The selected candidate will need to travel to counties other then those listed on this posting to assist with coverage of various specialty inspection types, specifically Dairy and Milk regulated facilities.
