Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require travel and overtime.
- This position will be home-headquartered if the applicant lives in Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong, Butler, or Lawrence County. If the applicant does not live in Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong, Butler, or Lawrence County, the assigned state vehicle must be parked in one of these counties, and the workday will start at 8:00 AM at the location of the assigned state vehicle.
- The selected candidate will need to travel to counties other then those listed on this posting to assist with coverage of various specialty inspection types, specifically Dairy and Milk regulated facilities.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Food Inspector 1, Agriculture (commonwealth title);or
- Two years of experience in the inspection of food establishments or food processing facilities, and a bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
