You will work closely with Office of Administration (OA) IT staff to coordinate efforts in the dissemination of geospatial data to the enterprise, to ensure that the state parks GIS section aligns with enterprise geospatial standards and protocols, and to ensure that the geospatial goals of the Bureau of State Parks are achieved. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In the role of GIS Supervisor, you will coordinate the distribution of geospatial data across the organization, ensuring that the State Parks GIS section adheres to established enterprise geospatial standards and protocols. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving the geospatial objectives set forth by the Bureau of State Parks. As the lead geospatial data steward, you will supervise the development of geospatial information and make final determinations regarding its use within the Bureau of State Parks. Your responsibilities will include the collection, analysis, organization, and maintenance of statewide spatial and tabular datasets.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday; with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
