THE POSITION
Are you looking for an internship that combines skill application with financial compensation? If so, consider joining the Enterprise Information Security Office as an Information Security Intern. This position gives you the opportunity to work with the Public Safety Delivery Center Information Security Officer (PSDC ISO) and PSDC ISO team as well as meet enterprise and agency executives. In this fast paced, FBI CJIS Criminal Justice environment, you will be participating in and observing table top training exercises. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Information Security Intern, you will have the opportunity to complete a comprehensive training program designed to help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this role. While actively participating in our training program, you will become proficient with :
- Vulnerability management, tracking, and reporting
- Incident response assistance and tracking
- Phishing test response
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) review and management
- Table top exercise preparation and participation
- Recording of meeting minutes
- Risk Management
- Policy review and research
- Technical writing
- Vendor management and risk identification assistance
- Compliance and auditing assistance of CJIS, CHRIA, and PCI environments.
