- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will gain valuable experience working alongside seasoned environmental professionals on various projects related to environmental impact assessments, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives. Internship opportunities associated with this posting will be for Engineering District 2 which consists of Clearfield, Centre, Clinton, Cameron, McKean, Potter, Mifflin, Elk, and Juniata Counties.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time internship that will run from 5/1/2025 through 8/29/2025
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Students who are interested in a PennDOT internship must meet all of the following requirements:- Must be a high school graduate or college student enrolled (or intending to enroll) on a full-time or part-time basis in a 2- or 4- year post-secondary education program for the fall semester.
- Acceptable Majors:
- Environmental Engineering
- Environmental science and sustainability
- Wildlife Ecology
- Or closely related major
- In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Special Requirement: Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
