Primarily, this role supervises PGC Dispatchers and provides direction, guidance, and problem resolution to ensure efficient operations. As part of your job, you will plan and monitor communications center operations involving the answering, evaluation, and prioritization of incoming telephone calls regarding wildlife, wildlife laws, and all aspects of PGC operations. This includes preparing work schedules to ensure adequate employee coverage, assisting with the development and maintenance of operational and procedural manuals, and participating in the development of emergency response plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- This position works four ten-hour days per week, no lunch period, to support our 24 hour per day operations.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Pennsylvania Game Commission Dispatcher (commonwealth title); or
- Four years of dispatching experience involving police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel and services; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a clear, firm voice and no major speech, hearing, or visual impairments that would interfere with understanding verbal communication, being understood, or using electronic communications equipment and visual display equipment.
- You must possess and maintain CLEAN and JNET certifications for the duration of employment in this job.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
